Well, we have 2 instances where Joshua looked rocked.
One against Whyte, the other against Klitschko.
Dont read too much into the Klitschko fight, because it was a picture perfect right hand, that would have floored any fighter.
The Whyte one is more concerning, but it was a short hook, that he didnt see coming and there are some sparring stories, in which Joshua supposedly got floored.
I would say his chin is alright and you first need someone who is able to land on Joshua before he mauls you.

because he's a HW. wladimir is one of the biggest punchers ever. you understand that, right? the guy is 6'5" and 240 lbs. he is not some welterweight. when HW hit each other cleanly they go down. especially when they have remarkable power for the division.

joshua has almost no pro experience at this level and he survived some absolute bombs from a great HW, who thought past his best, was still trying and can still crack like a mule with both hands.


joshua actually showed a good chin and powers of recovery. oliver mccalls are very rare at HW. for the most part the shots that wladimir landed will end fights. joshua is in next level shape. he can't pace himself properly becuase of his size and build, and needs to take breaks, but the guy is in the shape to weather storms.

his gas tank should be a bigger concern than his chin imo, he looked done in the fifth, the same round where he almost KO'd wlad, still don't understand how wlad couldn't end him in the sixth, props to joshua for surviving.

he just has to learn to pace himself. there's no way that guy doesn't work hard. it's his body type. when you're 250 lbs and muscle bound you will need a blow. if you're out of shape you won't get your legs back after something like that. joshua got a second wind, and then a third to produce the knockout. he's well conditioned. just needs to learn to use that 250 lb body. keep in mind that this is a kid with less than 60 rounds as a pro. wlaidmir has had 70 fights. probably fought more championship rounds than joshua has total rounds.

Because Wlad has ATG power and didn't put him out. The KD punch in the 6th round would have slept 99% of heavyweights. Joshua has a good chin and strong intangibles. Not many fighters recover from that kind of danger from Wlad.

wladimir actually showed a pretty good chin against joshua. a guy with a flat out bad chin doesn't get back up from those shots. he also doesn't rack up a couple dozen title defenses. wladimir's chin isn't great, but like a lot of 100KG plus guys one of his biggest problems is stamina. tiny little guys don't have to sustain the big bombs from their opponents, and they also don't have to carry a 240 lbs body around, or wrestle with another guy whose body weight when combined with your own may be close to 500 lbs. so while you novices think his chin is bad and that he's reeling around simply because he's chinny, in reality he's reeling around because he's got a lot of body to coordinate and he's been hit by a huge guy who cracks like a mack truck.
