Ruiz is not in the top 15 of the IBF ratings. What else you got?

True, but shouldn't Pulev fight someone for an eliminator as per usual IBF course of action?

They have Pulev rated #2 and #1 vacant. I thought they normally have to participate in an eliminator to be considered the mandatory?

I think he was promoted to mandatory position because Parker went for the WBO as he was original mando.

IBF rules are that if someone passes up on the chance of a title shot, they go down the rankings until someone accepts.. Pulev accepted the position and just had to wait for them to call it.

Pulev already won an IBF eliminator a full year ago and has been patiently waiting. This is the ******est thread ever.

Yep his win over Chisora was an eliminator that elevated him to no. 2 and then with Parker going a different direction he was pushed up to mandatory challenger

Chisora wins the award for ******est decision ever.

Offered a voluntary against AJ by Hearn, could have had easily his biggest pay day ever to then turn it down saying

"once i beat pulev you'll have to pay me 5 times as much"

to then promptly lose to Pulev in a terrible fight.

Imagine Joshua and Ruiz posing side by side topless after the weigh in.

Ah thanks for the clarification guys. That does sound in line with what I remember the IBF doing before.

Pulev isn't a bum or anything, just doesn't excite me I guess.

Which is mainly just a result of the fight that just happened. If Joshua had taken on Pulev before Wlad people would have been talking about it being his biggest test and a good fight.
