Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr: My Father Must Understand He Isn't My Trainer

It is beyond difficult for Julio Cesar Chavez to keep his opinions to himself when it comes to his son. As the most prominent Mexican champion in boxing history, the legendary Chavez believes he knows what's best for the mercurial former middleweight champion. It has caused tension between father and son in the past, particularly when the elder Chavez attended his training sessions on a daily basis.

His eyes are drained as well. This is not good for jr's health. The weight drain has him looking like he's seeing ghost and looking like one as well. He's dam near white

The only way I'm wasting money on this fight is if Chavez comes to the weigh-in and looks healthy... It's like the old Floyd fights, I'll buy them just to hope I get to see him get rocked, that's how I feel about Canela as well. Chavez has a punchers chance if he at least looks somewhat alive... He has a great chin and all they ever talk about is fighters bringing their power up with weight, problem is Canela was already weighing 180 come fight night...
