Boxing fans are never happy. This is a damn good fight that will be action while it lasts.

Klitschko rematch, possibly Fury, Wilder, Parker, Ortiz, and Pulev. Joshua has a ****ing murderers row waiting for him. This division is HOT.

No wonder Deontay named his title 'Sophia' because shes pure and cherished,,,you know something special.
Oh yes... Bum-Squad's wbc belt has such great recent lineage ...He won it frm Stiverne, who won it as a VACANT TITLE by beating another great HW - Fat, Pot-bellied, pot smoking Arreola!! Awesome lineage for sure!!! And omg - Stiverne is Amazingly the mandatory after struggling to beat and getting dropped by the legendary journeyman Rossi...once again AWESOME lineage! Keep on defending that belt on a college campus in Hicksville, Alabama.. where ringside seats are $5 as opposed to $50k for AJ-Wlad!!

What can Pulev learn from the Klitschko/AJ fight?

          1. You must be switched on at all times. (AJ can pounce on you at any given moment IE Round 5 & 11)
          2. AJ is there to be hit so if you're good and powerful enough let your hands go.
          3. Be careful of the upper cut when you clinch.
          4. Finish him off if you've got him hurt he does recover well

              +1.

All of these guys are legite.

My only concern is if he takes a money fight like a Whyte rematch. But even that would probably be fun.

We just gotta hope the fringe guys are content to wait their turn. Stiverne needs to **** off or fight someone like Takam to start earning his shot. Ditto for Helenius, Christian Hammer etc etc. Hopefully Whyte fights some of those mid range guys too so he can learn and build himself up properly.

Joshua just KOd Klitschko and became unified champ, and he has some VERy tough fights on the horizon. I wouldn't complain at all about him taking an easy payday 3 months from now as long as he stays active.... kid's earned it.

Sounds like a fine fight to me. Pulev is right next to Ortiz/Parker/etc on every list I know of. I imagine the same guys lamenting him as a bum are the ones who think the division has "suddenly come alive" -- ie casual fans who only follow a division when a guy from their country is being pumped on TV.

This would barely even make sense if it were an American vs a Russian, but it's a UK-born Nigerian vs a Bulgarian (Bulgaria never had a hammer & sickle). The stereotypes don't even apply for the sake of satire.

yeah in an ideal world i would, but i dont see many (any) other fighters consistently fighting elite guys fight after fight, especially after 19 fights, so im not going to start slating joshua if he fights pulev next after fighting klitschko.

Two top ten HW fought for that belt, Stiverne had to fight Arreola TWICE for the WBC title -- thats a hell of standard...as oppose to a non ranked paper champion Charles Martin or Fat Boy Andy Ruiz vs. Parker...yeah I know you all don't think much of Stiverne in his current form and think much less of Arreola but they where legit contenders at that point of their careers.
