Exactly, Parker would get more money than Martin. Has a bigger name and with a fight against Bellew being speculated, he'll be a solid name in the UK by the point.

Honestly Parker's team would be dumb to take a unification fight w/ Wilder next. The obvious move would be to fight Joshua in either New Zealand (since he said he wants to go global) or the UK. Sell out some 50k plus arena and make about $10-15 million.

He'd only make about $2 million fighting Wilder next in the US. That's just bad business.

I get the competitive piece but Wilder is bringing very little to the table in comparison to other options.

He should even consider a UK scrap with Bellew over Wilder. Money talks.

Keep up with the news buddy. Parker and Bellew have been trading shots on twitter. And he'd make more money fighting Bellew then Joshua (over $10 million easily), than the $2 million he'd get fighting Wilder in the US.

For example, Charles Martin made $4 million fighting Joshua in the UK.

Don't let your fandom cloud objective judgment. These guys gotta get theirs too. Particularly for Parker b/c he's not beating Wilder or Joshua in my view.

The WBO has been a joke since it first came about. While Mike Tyson was undisputed champ the WBO had their inaugural title fight with Francesco Damiani vs Johnny DuPlooy. It was vacated several times so the champ could fight for a world title. The WBO has regional belts in Asian & Africa where the talent pool is weak so guys go over there & win the WBO Asian pacific & WBO oriental titles & they are in the top 15. Alex Leapai was a perfect example.
