I'm aware that they have to be within the top 15, but I'm pretty sure one-eye jim that sits under the dartboard at my local pub could win a WBO regional belt.. their rankings are ****ing horrendous.

That's not to say others, like the IBF in past days for example, havent had bad rankings especially in the HW division but the WBO really does sc**** the bottom of the professional boxing barrel.

At least the IBF's bad rankings have stemmed from their absolute solid stance on enforcements of their reules and regs. *cough charles martin*

You think its possible one eye jim can get a glass eye and pass a medical exam to get his career going ? Whats his weight class ? Does he just play darts or does he need fight experience ?Whats his age ? One eye Jim vs Martin for a possible title eliminator in the future would be amazing .

He'd only make about $2 million fighting Wilder next in the US. That's just bad business.

I get the competitive piece but Wilder is bringing very little to the table in comparison to other options.

He should even consider a UK scrap with Bellew over Wilder. Money talks.
If we can get Wilder in there with one eye Jim in Vegas and he wins his stock would certainly go up !

I'll have a word with the WBO and get him an eye-patch exemption to bring some added ****e to his persona!

Haha pretty sure this is how they picked 95% of the opponents for Wilder

You know even the guys behind Parker aren't really believers when they are making this caliber of opponent sign a rematch clause. I mean I understand the business side of it & you gotta line up your checks & balances, but its not usually when you are the -5000 favorite to just forgo the rematch clause cuz wtf its just wasting paper cuz losing to this caliber a guy destroys your higher level value in the sport any damn way.

Idk if I'd go so far as calling the Wilder unification dumb, but for sure the Joshua fight is now the fight everyone at HW is gonna want. Joshua is the Floyd of HW, if not all of boxing, now in that regard. Problem for Parker would be idk that Parker has all that much value to offer Joshua in comparison. Klitschko II is a better option & f#ck if Klitschko were to win a rubber match would be YUUUUUUUGE. Wilder is a better option. Fury is a better option. I think you could even say potentially a guy like Ortiz could be a better option although that's highly arguably.

He should even consider a UK scrap with Bellew over Wilder. Money talks.
Bellew actually wouldn't be a bad idea. Parker gets his name more known in the UK market. Bellew is Joshua's boy so there is avenging a L for his homie angle on the Joshua side + grudge match caliber build up for this fight. For sure there is much better choices to make for Joshua for his next 2 fights, but this sorta fight for Parker could increase his value greatly for that 3rd fight for Joshua down the line from here. Or with Wilder's beatability + Fury's ability to shoot himself in the foot there is potential for cutting in line & getting Joshua in the first half of 2018.

                  You sound crazy bro.

Parker doesn't make 10-15 million fighting joshua or any other heavyweight.

A fight in the UK with Joshua (especially after beating Bellew) would probably have a 30-50 million dollar pie. (Don't think that's far fetched with the business Joahua has done lately.)

A 75/25 or 66/33 split could see him grabbing that much. Unless you think his terms would be less favorable? I could understand that.

Bottomline is he'd make less fighting Wilder.

Parker isn't anything special. I think he'll lose the WBO before he even gets to AJ...
