Eddie Hearn made the investments for AJ even if it meant overpaying Charles Martin to come and defend his Title in the UK because he KNEW the Investment would be worth it. Wilder missing a Promoter IMO, Haymon is excellent at MANAGING a Superstar like Mayweather but haven't showed he can CREATE ONE yet. I feels like the American Fighters are all "WAITING FOR SUPER STARDOM TO FIND THEM" almost this sense of entitlement from our American Fighters like "Well I'm American So You Should Like Me" UH NO that is not how this **** works. You not giving **** because you're American! AJ put in work, Eddie Hearn put in work to reach this point. Put Wilder with Arum and I think Wilder is a Bigger Star! That is not to discredit Haymon but he is not a Promoter he is a Manager/Adviser but he stays behind the scenes so who is out Promoting these guys? I know DiBella been speaking out and promoting more for him lately which I think he does need more of. He can speak for himself but it comes off as too Arrogant for a Heavyweight to speak for themselves that **** will turn the average sensitive casual fans off. However when Don King was speaking for Tyson it worked great!

Don King is a Piece of **** for what he did to many fighters but I do think America is missing that Charismatic Promoter that can go on all Platforms and sell a fight! Joshua can be Humble and the Gentle Giant in the UK because he has a charismatic promoter like Eddie Hearn but with a 6'7 Screaming "BOMB SQUAD" that might turn some people off this is how Pu$$y some fans are now like on this forum they just complain about EVERYTHING

I would say Wilder has been content to allow Haymon to guide his career, which has stalled him thus far. Yes, he is undefeated and a champion, but just like the rest of Haymon's biggest fighters none of them are making much more than $2M per fight and they aren't getting matched with other big names. Look at Thurman vs. Garcia. Each guy only got $2M for a title fight between undefeated champions. Compare that to Rios vs. Alvarado which earned each guy close to a million, two C-rate fighters who aren't in the same league.

I just think Wilder needs a compelling rivalry and he will be a big star in the US. I honestly think he's marketed fine, it's just his opponents don't set the imagination on fire. I mean Joshua fought the same total bums on his way up but but he was a national hero from the Olympics. Plus the Boxing media has always taken a very cynical approach to Wilder, often openly hostile. And boxing fans in the US have been burned by the Michael Grants and Seth Mitchells of the world. So they need a little more proving to really buy into the hype. Same way the Brits had Fraudley and Price letting them down. For some reason the Brits totally got over it though. HW Boxing is a funny thing like that..

Yes, I agree. What do you think if Wilder fought on HBO as a regular staple? There's something about HBO that elevates fighters.
