With that early ko loss awhile back i still got chin questions with him & moving up a division to a division with more hitters i think will end up being a mixed bag for him.

I'd be surprised if jack vs smith happened at all, but that's definitely an interesting fight that i'm not sure which way i'd lean.

And yea it sounds like jack will be getting stevenson next & it sounds like he's waiting either way based on the floyd said i got a title shot logic that i heard too so we probably won't even see him fight til sept/oct at the earliest based on all the 175lb title holders fighting next month.
he said he will be stonger at 175 since he wont have to drain himself... Joe smith still might be too strong.... Stevenson obviously.... Fonfora might be a good first fight for him....

Everyone says that doe. And hell it might be true for him, but the problem is guys punch harder the higher up in weight you go & 175 gots some hammers while beyond that of which Jack fought at 168. Its a murderers row of guys with power.

I like Jack & got mad respect for his comeback from that KO L that most people wrote him off for dead after & that shoulda got him to the #1 spot in the division if he'd actually got the decisions he earned, but I definitely think he has more than one KO L at 175 waiting for him.

I think Stevenson could be ripe to be beaten. He's getting older. He's been fighting subpar opposition for where he's at in the sport. I assume that's why all signs point to Jack being moved at Stevenson. Floyd is very aggressive with his guys & beating the lineal 175 title holder puts Jack on the map in a big way if he can win, but if he loses, its not an awful loss cuz Stevenson is still a name guy.

Personally I just don't have much confidence Jack can beat Stevenson.

I've actually been thinking about throwing some money on Fonfara upsetting him Stevenson, but I haven't watched any tape of Fonfara's last fight specifically or the first Stevenson fight again to have much confidence in pulling the trigger on that. Obviously if Fonfara beats Stevenson I like Jack's chances to walk away the lineal champion all the more & I'd probably favor him over Fonfara.

yea i agree! Fonfora is the only one who he could beat right now.... Fonfora just had a fight and stevenson has been off for more than a year... Dont bet too much on fonfora though lol... Also jack just got his tie against bute taken off his record after 52 weeks... He finally has a win for that fight just like he should have a w for beating degale....
