Damn that's f#cked up. I don't buy some of the Farmer hype that's got some growing grassroots support to it, but I like the story so rooting for the kid. Shows some resolve that he did keep fighting doe. That's a good sign whatever he does from here on out.

i agree farmer is getting overhyped... Some floyd haters just love to go against floyd fighters lol.... What do you think about badou jack vs joe smith? That might happen next.... Jack said floyd promised him a title fight at 175 next.... Unless its stevenson

Too bad, I was hoping to see Farmer get a rematch with Frank De Alba and then maybe parlay that into a title fight

He has really grown as a fighter and sorry to hear about this setback. Hope it does not linger for him down the line.

                  This ia really bad.
Farmer is yet to crack someone in the top 10, his return has been awesome but he already built a string of wins, now he needs to beat good names.

I don't love the idea of Jack moving up. I'd have preferred a rematch with DeGale (thought Jack won the first fight like most others, but it still was a closer fight & fun), but if he's having weight issues fair play. With that early KO loss awhile back I still got chin questions with him & moving up a division to a division with more hitters I think will end up being a mixed bag for him.

I'd be surprised if Jack vs Smith happened at all, but that's definitely an interesting fight that I'm not sure which way I'd lean.

And yea it sounds like Jack will be getting Stevenson next & it sounds like he's waiting either way based on the Floyd said I got a title shot logic that I heard too so we probably won't even see him fight til Sept/Oct at the earliest based on all the 175lb title holders fighting next month.
