Well the pictures were bad, but in this video he doesn't look in bad shape or drained. Looks ok.

The real deal will be at the weigh in to see if he can come in at 164.5. We'll see, he says he can make 160 if wanted to. But how many times do fighters talk with confidence about making weight before a fight when we know they're struggling? They don't want to ruin those PPV numbers so they b#tch about it after the fight.

Yea, there's very few times I can remember a fighter said he was struggling with anything until after a fight. Then, it turns out they were drained, injured, sick, distracted, you name it.

If he is REALLY 169lbs in this video, no doubt 164.5 will be easy come weigh in. That 5.5lbs is just water weight.
And if he is REALLY 169lbs in that video, there is some good news for his team since he seem to perspire well and not seem dehydrated.

I had a feeling those pictures were just that, bad pictures. Chavez jr constantly looks strange in all of his pics, add the bad lighting and them being taken post workout and it kind of makes sense. He looks healthier in the videos one of his trainers posts on Instagram
