can't we just get a WBA eliminator for Ortiz vs Wlad. Ultimate test for Wlad. It's a Corrie Saunders remake

I want to see him fight joshua again.

He came inches short, should have pressed on the gas in the 6th. He had him

        1. David Haye
        2. Ruslan Chagaev
        3. Chris Byrd rematch
        4. Calvin Brock
        5. Samuel Peter rematch
        6. Sultan Ibragimov
        7. Tony Thompson first fight
        8. Kubrat Pulev
        9. Mariusz Wach
        10. Eddie Chambers

I don't count the Povetkin fight because I thought it was atrocious. Wlad should have been penalized more than he was. I think he would have won anyway, but he chose to cheat.

Povetkin, Haye are his greatest wins imo especially Haye who was in his prime and a dangerous dangerous puncher

I'd still include Povetkin, but otherwise I agree entirely and this list looks pretty spot on. Biggest disagreement is putting the Peter rematch on there. Peter ****** then, I give Wlad way more credit for the first fight.

Povetkin could probably hang with Joshua, Joshua doesn't jab like klit to keep people at distance.

                povetkin probably..

Good point. Peter was more dangerous in the first fight. I guess I was just thinking of how dominant Wlad was in the rematch.

Wlad's legacy is probably as much about the consistency as much as the actual names beat, which is not spectacular.

But at heavyweight even with mostly average competition, his accomplishment to dominate for that long is remarkable. The heavyweight division is Texas No Limit Hold em, metaphorically speaking. Fights can be turned on their head in an instant, and the stakes are high, the fights are on more of a knife edge.

His best wins to me are Haye (in my opinion his most impressive performance), Povetkin, and Chagaev . Peter I is a notch below, and some other guys are on that level i.e. Pulev, Byrd, Thompson.

For the record I think the Joshua fight actually enhanced his legacy, and depending on what Joshua does in his career, could further enhance it as his career progresses.
