Comments Thread For: Showtime's Espinoza Eyes Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder

Showtime Sports head Stephen Espinoza is expecting a future fight where Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs) will defend his IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight titles in the United States. Joshua, who is under an exclusive television deal with Showtime, raised his profile to a new level this past Saturday night, when he got off the floor in the sixth round to stop former division ruler Wladimir Klitschko in the eleventh round before a crowd of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in London.

This fight needs to happen by the end of this year.

Lessons need to be learned from Mayweather-Pacquiao and Golovkin-Canelo.

Make it happen, before Wilder gets his hand or something hurt or before one of them risks losing.

They both should be fighting each other as champions and both undefeated.

This would be a super fight but don't look fort this year. Showtime will let JOSHUA destroy FURY first.

That right hand could not stop the ONLY legit HW contender Wilder has faced in 38 fights - Stiverne. Wilder power overrated.

WILDER broke his hand in the 4th round of STIVERNE fight and still dominated the 12 rounds. That showed me a lot.

Also, did u see SPILKA stretched out from a WILDER right hand? We all though he was paralyzed! WILDER has that TOMMY HEARNS electric right hand! Stay focused !!
