Joshua has fought 2 live bodies and been wobbled by both.

Nearly stopped by one. Just something to temper the hype train, he is mainly power and muscles but he is very vulnerable when trying to impose that on guys who will fight back.

Even Klitschko although a top guy, doesn't like to fight guys off him, he did in the 5th and the rewards were huge, unfortunately for him he couldn't muster it up in the 11th, where I think if he had, there would have been a repeat of the 5th.

Give the man his credit and stop the hate. Joshua fought an ATG great in Wladimir, even if Wladimir at 41 was only about 60% of what he used to be in his prime, the man still had the power, and experience to defeat 98% of the division. I tip my hat to Joshua, its not his chin that is a problem, it is his ability to pace and measure himself. He'd do well if he dropped about 8 pounds, and hovered around 240 vs 250.

There's no hate, i've given him his dues, we're talking boxing now. These are the realities and they should be addressed (moreso by Joshua and co.).

Yep. That's heavyweight boxing. One punch can end it all. Getting wobbled in the heavyweight division is expected. The important thing is how he ended the fight

He has a weird reaction to being hurt. His legs seem solid enough and his eyes clear, but he just slows right down and takes a long time to get back up to speed

He's a flawed fighter for sure but will learn more tricks and instincts with experience, and at least we now know that he has the intangibles for world class boxing. And that he's always going to be great value for money

After saturday its got past the point where we can say he was a hype job or whatever, hes proven in my eyes. If you can beat klitscko you can beat 99.9 percent of that division. Lets not forget joshua has only had 19 fights too. I thought wlad was going to do a job on him, but joshua did much better than i expected, showed some nice boxing skills on top of the power, i had him up by a couple of points before the stoppage.

He's a life or death fighter far as I'm concerned he's only had one real opponent in Klitscho and so his record is 1-0 but even that was a farce truth is Klitscho shud and cud have finished him off in the 6th but he was playing with him

Also the fight was stopped way too early. If that's a ko these days then I'm going to live in the trees

Mark my word aj will never have a 20+ undefeated record especially if fury gets his hands on him Jesus even bellew wud probably take him to peaches

That's not an excuse. Yes, one punch can change everything, esspecially at heavyweight but you're seriously going to chalk everything up to that? He has an obvious flaw here (although fixable) and again, only fought 2 guys with the grit and level to fight back and been hurt by both.

Seeing what Bellew's power and strength was next to Haye, he has zero chance of not getting squashed by Joshua, imo.

I agree with the majority here.

It's clear AJ will need to work on his defence, if he's going to have a long reign a la Wladimir, but the fundamentals are there.

He surprised me on Saturday, and showed great heart to come back after what happened in the latter part of the fifth, and the knockdown in the sixth. Wladimir, too, for his age, looked in great shape, and proved many doubters wrong re. his chin/heart.

All in all, credit to both men.
