Allen entire plan was to survive for as long as he could, Ortiz had an easy but frustrating night with Allen because the fight lasted longer than it needed to.

          How about Malik Scott?

Ortiz was signed to excite the UK fans en route to a joshua mega clash. he failed and lost his contract.

40 years old and not a name. sucks.
ooo mr technical austism OK he didnt KO him but he still won every round and stopped him lol.

Dave Allen still got hit so hard he was speaking with a lisp for a week.

how about Malik scott? how about him cowering on the floor desperately looking to quit while the Reff decides no quitting this time Malik, and PULLS HIM UP

Don't get me wrong im not a Ortiz fan, but i still think an ancient Ortiz still gives AJ fit's (if he doesnt gass that is)

... Yes, Ortiz won each round...

... but just who wants to fight a high skilled Cuban HW?

AJ might end up losing at least one of his belts tied down to a Klitschko rematch just like Fury smh. Some will say karma since he won his ibf that way.

If you signed with Haymon, wouldn't Wilder be your top priority? Why would you want to sit around and wait on your mandatory with Joshua? Same with Wilder. Ortiz is right there, and you're talking about Parker! And then Joshua beats Klitshco and he's calling out Tyson Fury! WTF??

                      1. The WBA isn't known for forcing mandatory defenses. They likely won't make AJ fight Ortiz; instead opting for the large sanctioning fees they could get from the bigger fights.

                      2. Ortiz hasn't looked great of late anyway. Not sure he has what's needed to get the kid out of there.

                      3. Eddie made a comment about fighting around the world in big fights. Ortiz is definitely not in that category.

So I think he'll be waiting for AJ to fight the likes of Parker, Wilder, Pulev (It's an easier fight and he'll want to keep the strap. The IBF actually forces fights.), and possibly Fury. Then Ortiz might get in the mix.
