    The Next Generation

It looks like we have officially entered into a new era of boxing
Men who were once respected and feared appear to be nothing more than a stepping stone for the new generation of fighters
Bernard Hopkins was literally forced out of the ring by an Average Joe
Wladimir Klitschko has suffered back to back losses
Miguel Cotto won't fight anybody with kneecaps
And Love it or hate it but Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are irrelevant
    With Boxers like
    Terrence Crawford
    Mikey Garcia
    Vasyl Lomachenko
    Keith Thurman
    Errol Spence
    Saul Alvarez
    Anthony Joshua
    Taking the Helm
    And fresh rivalry's like Ward-Kovalev
It's a damn good time to be a boxing fan

you forgot the main man GGG!..... but yeah i almost did a thread earlier saying how great this year has been and is shaping up to be for boxing. The talent is there, and its great to see heavyweight heating up again, although wlads a class act, his era of dominance killed most the interest in that division for a long time.

Agreed, the past few years when all the top guys were retiring, getting old. We've been in a bit of a limbo, now we're getting the new wave of champions & challengers and it seems quite deep In terms of numbers of guys coming through.

This is going to be an important year for boxing, it already has been. I'd go as far to say that the first few months have been better than the whole of 2016 so far & we've got exciting fights to come

Me too man, the amount of ******** casuals though, I was losing my mind at some of the shít they were saying & 90% of them didn't get into the stadium until 20 minutes before Aj/Wlad fight. Was embarrassing.

2 guys came and sat down 5 mins before the ring walks, didn't see any of the undercard, sat on there phones (one was playing scrabble..) then took tons of photos and videos of the entrance, and left as soon as the last punch landed.. why even bother going?
