Comments Thread For: Joshua: I'm Taking Notes on How I Can Improve, Get Stronger

Anthony Joshua has already started plotting how he can continue improving as a fighter after so impressively passing his greatest test by beating Wladimir Klitschko. The 27-year-old added the WBA, IBO titles to his IBF championship in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium by recovering from the first knockdown of his career to stop one of the finest heavyweights in history.

He needs to drop his weight to around 240. Work on his stamina and pace. He got carried away in round 5 and started celebrating after the first KD.. He genuinely believed he stopped Vlad.

He needs to manage his expectation, mentally that affected him alot as he thought he got rid of Vlad but Vlad came back strong. If AJ remained calm and picked his shots carefully he wouldn't have had those issues.

I think he has a great chin.. It's his stamina the reason he fell in round 6. If he didn't have the stamina issues he wouldn't have fell in round 6 and would have stopped Vlad in round 5.

Thankfully he can fix those in the gym.

Yeah 244lbs i reckon.....he can trim those extra few pounds of easy with his frame but his tactic was to probably outstrength klitchcko close up and weighed that much for a reason....it was his inexperience and the whole pressure of the event that got to joshua after he hurt klitchcko in the 5th round that caused him to get in trouble....blew a gasket but if you actually look at the frst 4 rounds it was joshua who was controlling the action and was outboxing klitchcko and the 5th he had him down and celebrated to early....klitscko won the the 6th by 2 points AND 7th and 8th....9th and 10th i felt joshua did slightly more n those rounds and he brutally stopped him the next rounds and if you score the fight 10-9 must system joshua was in the lead .
Joshua will only learn from that fight and get better.
He gonna be tops for a long time

He needs to stay on his path, and we need to appreciate what he's doing - this was his 19th, professional fight - think about that.....

His potential is unfounded, if Wlad retires and teaches him his patent 1-2 shot..game over man...game over!

Joshua can be just as quick and he punches just as hard if not harder!

Also if Wlad shows him how to improve on his jab!

Wlad only lost rounds when he wasn't throwing anything but at the same time Joshua won rounds when he had stamina and was throwing shots!

I honestly thought wlad would shut the casuals up and he was so close in doing so but joshua prooved to me that what he lacks in boxing ability he makes up for with determination and grit, he beat one of the greatest heavyweights ever in his 19th fight! Yeah wlads over the hill but not far over as some claim, i'd love to see the rematch
