Comments Thread For: Joshua: I Can Do What Klitschko Did, Retain The Title For 10 Years

IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs) is looking for a very long reign in the sport. The boxer survived some tough moments on Saturday night, when he stopped Wladimir Klitschko in the eleventh round of their classic fight before a wild crowd of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in London.

I'm not even sure he will be champion by the end of next year.

possibly, although never know what prospects are going to emerge, i dont think much of the current crop will cause him many problems, he destroys wilder and parker. fury is obviously the main threat.

There won't be a dominant champion in this new era of HW boxing.

Ten years is a long time in boxing. It's good that Joshua is setting big goals, but I doubt that anyone in the foreseeable future is going to do what Wlad did.

As a cash cow fairly early in his career, he's the primary target on everyone's hit list. That's a lot of pressure.

Wilder, Parker, Fury, and Ortiz probably have more confidence than ever after seeing Wlad knock him down.

                Agreed.

I believe there is no one out there who is head and shoulders above anyone else.

He will take some 'L's' along the way, all the current crop will which is what makes the division exciting right now.
