Comments Thread For: Joshua Views Tyson Fury as The Next Mega-Bout at Heavyweight

Anthony Joshua believes the next heavyweight mega-fight is a showdown between him and Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs). On Saturday night, Joshua scored a stunning eleventh round knockout of former division ruler Wladimir Klitschko. In becoming the first pugilist to stop Klitschko since Lamon Brewster in 2004, Joshua added the WBA, IBO belts to his IBF title.

We know you want to build a name resume but geez fight some fresh competition, not druggies, retirees, old men, exchamps, & the likes. Make it competitive!

He should fight Wilder next. Fury isn't anywhere close to being in shape for AJ, he needs a few fights first

Of course, he wants someone who has spent almost two years doing nothing but eating and snorting *******. Why unify against Wilder for? That's why I was hoping Vlad would win, because he would fight Wilder. Parker won't fight him, Joshua won't fight him, and Fury won't fight him. Wilder has weaknesses, but I guess the other beltholders are scared to death of that power. Joshua-Wilder, otherwise I don't care and neither will the rest of America. Parker should man up and fight Wilder next, and then the winner fights Joshua. That's what Wilder wanted and Parker is fighting a bus driver- literally, the guy is seriously a bus driver. And Joshua apparently does not want to unify titles either. Lame.

He should focus on unifying now but i doubt it will be easy to get those fights made. Then again, look at the numbers he does. Hearn might have to make them offers they just can't refuse.

Even if Fury is making a comeback, it's going to be a long time before he is ready for this kind of fight, he needs to lose a LOT of weight and fight a few tune ups first.

Wilder, that is what everyone wants. Whyte, Martin, and Brazeale are all trash. I mean they are ok, but that is it. No better than Washington. 9 and 10th ranked HWs, ok, that is good, but when someone wins a fight to recognized as the best in a division, I want him calling out the best, not some coked out carny, no matter how big the carny is.
