I question if he shows up fight night now

I like Fury but he is a wildcard mentally NOW! Then the weird stuff his cousin pulled with Parker Not So Sure about the Fury's all together now!

He might outbox Joshua for stretches but Joshua will go apechit in his bursts and no man alive can survive that. He's coming in with punches from all angles with precision somehow. like a prime Mike Tyson. unlike Deontay WIlder.

dude's got stamina. got Wlad outta there in rd 11.

the fury from the klitschko fight would make it very ugly (like that awful fight) that's his only chance imo

Absolutely. Joshua buys into look baits easily. Just as easily as Wlad. It's one of the elements that made AJ-Wlad so close. Fury practices a form of big man game formula that favors elusiveness over everything else. So what he's going to do is posture and position himself so that he appears more vulnerable than he actually is than when AJ goes to close the gap Fury will just have to lean to get out of the way. If AJ really rushes in or Tyson just fights really safe Fury will step to the side and twist him.

Tyson gives up purity of the powerline for elusiveness so AJ's best bet is to punch with Tyson. That way Tyson's the one closing the gap AJ's just occupying the power real estate. hurt him with a left and when he's good and worried about the left wing the looping right hand. Like how Mike and Marciano used to or even Tommy.

you can see the Mike in AJ but not the Foreman in Wilder?

Did you realize AJ's like a rough Mike while Wlad's like a much better version of Primo?

I believe he can. Wladimir was 41 and had to conserve his energy because of past experience when he's gassed out (Brewster), he let AJ recover for 2 rounds thinking he'll finish strong, but it was a mistake and he should have taken him out when he had the chance. With Fury...he'll go for the KO after the KD and let his hands go more without losing stamina. Fury is actually quite athletic despite his weight issues. I think Wilder also beats AJ. AJ ios just too cumbersome, look at the Wlad fight....when he threw more than 3 punches he had to stop to catch his breath. Terrible conditioning. And his power is overrated...it's not a Foreman/Mike Tyson blow...Wlad was able to get up 3 times and was stopped and didn't look badly hurt. Wilder, Fury spark him out or run circles round him till he collapses on his feet.

Tyson Fury does throw a lot of baits.

BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE THE PUNISHMENT. he doesn't have the punching power nor speed.

Wlad as a safety first fighter does not run red lights.

Joshua has bursts where he will run through redlights. You better hope your 1 punch puts him out or you're going out when he goes apechit.

this is why Deontay Wilder is actually his stylistic nightmare.

Fury is easy work. he got floored by pillowfisted Steve Cunningham.

                  Nope.

Wlad is risk averse and had no answer for being the shorter man and out of range. He's not willing to step in to throw his shots. Fury merely stayed out of range, flicked out mostly pitty pat punches and took a wide and extremely boring decision.

Joshua has no such problem. He will step in to land, he will come through those flicking jabs and he will close that distance. Joshua will blitz him, and it will be over early.

Mike is a much better combination puncher than Foreman.
