Joshua needs to ease up on the weight lifting and consider fighting between 240-245. Dude basically almost got KO'd because he stepped on the gas early in the fifth and got tired. And it took him 3-4rds to recover. I think Joshua is the class of the division. But if he punches himself out against a guy like Fury without stopping him. And it takes 3-4rds to recover. He might be looking at a situation where he drops several rounds, and never get a chance to get him outta there like he did Wlad. Or if the same thing happens against a guy like Wilder. He's probably not gonna be able to eat as many flush shots against Wilder as he was against Wlad for 3-4 months while he's catching his breath.

Exactly, absolutely ridiculous shape. The muscle mass almost betrayed him though. I am impressed that he recognized what he needed to do to recover.
In the 7th and 8th, I knew he was taking the rounds off. By 9, his legs were back.
But it's even more impressive that he was able to close the show. It was a remarkable recovery. Shows the work in the gym mattered.Comment

I'm sure he will. I do think the reason he came in so heavy was to be the bigger stronger man and make it difficult for wlad to hold.Joshua needs to ease up on the weight lifting and consider fighting between 240-245. Joshua has been in great shape and if you watch his training videos its no suprise. However, he needs to fine-tune his training-regime, more cardio and less muscle-building. He should lose a few pounds. Then he can maybe throw a few powerfull combinations without gassing completely.Comment

Great win, just don't start acting all invincible and shiii. We already have one of those in the HW division. He lives in Alabama currently. Don't be THAT guy.
In the past couple decades, the mindset we see now has mushroomed outta control. Ali likely started the craze, but there were a few others as well. Marciano, Joe Louis, the vast majority of fighters in the golden age of boxing... they rarely if ever got this way... especially not on tape. I realize it's a fight, and there will be some bravado, but it's counter-productive and it takes away from whatever talent a fighter has IMO.Comment
