He has a lot of bulk. He isnt out of shape but It doesnt look like he is in great boxing shape, im no expert on this but It would seem 10-15 lbs would make him lighter on his feet and extend his stamina.

Precisely, it looked draining carrying around the bulk, he looked heavy moving around. Wlad looked very quick & fluid, hopefully he learns from this & takes a similar approach, Wlad looked fine gas tank wise this fight but did gas a little in his earlier days so hopefully Josh can get it sorted too. The extra muscle he's been packing on isn't helping him.

Just looked & in Joshua's earlier fights he was weighing 16 stone 8lbs -16 stone 12. A stone lighter than he was for this fight, looked quicker on his feet at around the 17 mark or under.

pretty much, but that comes with experience.

The comparison isn't an exact one, but Wilder was clearly learning his craft, got to the Stiverne fight (where he had his hand fail him for the first time), and had to finally start showing real boxing craft.

His right hand is still the death blow, but he's shown an educated lead hand (jab/hooks to the head and body), the ability to fight on the inside, better defensive awareness/tactics, grit, shot placement, etc. he still goes into the wild stuff when he's simply looking to close out a fight, but he's developing his game.

Joshua will come back better for having had this fight.
