Every fight is a learning experience for AJ, he turned around and walked back because he learned from the 5th round, he had both his hands up and was thinking he already took out Wlad, when he finally did in the 11th round you could tell he had learned already. Joshua is a novice but one that had to be pushed quicker due to his competition.
Why are people over exxagerating the stoppage?

dont think they are talking about the stoppage as such, more the sequence that initiated it, that uppercut was certainly 'destructive'Comment

So we should forget about how AJ brutally sent him to the floor twice with vicious combos and one of the craziest uppercuts we've seen in the HW division EVER, because the ref stepped in to save Wlad? Some are calling it brutal, some are calling in 'destruction, and some are just saying it is a brutal destruction, when in reality Wlad barely got hit in the final three seconds before the stoppage. He was slipping and catching shots with his gloves while his head leaned away from the punches, and only gets hit with grazing shots, and finished on his feet. Yet people pretend like it was how Hatton and Pacquiao lost by KO.
Not taking anything away from Wlad, because that was the best fight he ever fought against a top level fighter IMO and he showed crazy heart to get up when he shouldn't have been able to. But he was brutally stopped even if he wasn't on the ground when it was called off.Comment

You got valid points but at the same time Joshua had thrown 49 punches in round 11, Wladimir was defending some of those punches. Wladimir said something to the referee immediately after it was stopped too. It's possible that Joshua would have gassed again, not saying it's controversial though. So we should forget about how AJ brutally sent him to the floor twice with vicious combos and one of the craziest uppercuts we've seen in the HW division EVER, because the ref stepped in to save Wlad?

Wlad had no business going on after the first or second KD. he was carrying on on heart alone and was clearly out of it.You got valid points but at the same time Joshua had thrown 49 punches in round 11, Wladimir was defending some of those punches. Totally different than in round 5.Comment

True but it's quite possible that Joshua would have gassed again too, wonder what Wladimir said to the referee but he hasn't made complaints so far. Seems like the right call to make.Comment
