He will be kicking himself that he didn't end it in the 6th or 7th
Allowed AJ to smother his work rather than stepping back and throwing and eventually Joshua recovered

I'm sure lad did the best he could do.
He said better man won. I wonder if josh felt like the better man though? Probably not,! But he got job done

Klitschko was tired. Joshua boxed smart to see out the round and give himself a round off in the 7th

Absolutely he let him off the hook by no intentions though, Wlad was fatigued recovering himself, he went for the kill and didn't want to punch himself out in a fight he very realistically was edging towards winnning on points.

He slowed a bit from the consistency of his attack but he didn't really punch himself out and it wasnt his issue, his issue was obviously charging Klitschko for the stoppage and walking into numerous power shots.

Joshua was completely ****ed, but he saw the finishing shots and avoided them when it mattered. Saw the left hook coming. Recovered brilliantly in the next few rounds by keeping his distance.

Despite being a massive puncher, i dont think Wlad has ever been a great finisher.

But lets give credit where it is due. Joshua did what he needed to do

Wlads mistake was head hunting, instead of working that body

Jousha was in dead water for about 3 rounds, hardly throwing punches, this is when Wlad should have worked his body

Wlad should have broke his body down

I agree, AJ was totally finished at that point. If Wlad had shown a bit more aggression it would've been over, can't believe he didn't start swinging. I said it before, you can't have an opponent THAT HURT and not go for the kill. I wouldn't even say AJ did well surviving, he did nothing amazing.... Wlad just didn't go aggressive enough which he had to do.

**** the body. if wlad landed one clean shot to the head between rounds 6-8, it'd be over.
