Klitschko admitted he didn't jump on him because he felt Joshua was gassed out at that point and that he would be able to pick him apart slowly and finish him late or win a decision. Which makes sense because you don't want to jump in wildly and get hit with something. But it backfired.

This is what he said in the post fight interview. Normally it would be a good strategy but in this fight it just happened to backfire on Klitschko.

Wlad don't have that type of explosive combination style, that's why he couldn't finish Joshua. Look at how he finished Chambers and Pulev, crushing lead left hook which they weren't prepared for unlike Joshua who avoided it in his worst moments of the fight.

Wlad will now regret not putting all of his efforts in to finishing the out on his feet AJ. who at that stage was a sitting duck and just a half decent punch away from losing the fight.I Wlad thought that without taking any risks he chance to finish would appear again very soon ......it didn't .All credit to AJ'S recovery skills but he really should have been taken out by Wlad who himself will have to put that down to experience.
