I thought he was legit enough already. I had him as my #1 guy off of talent, a much improved boxing IQ that I felt I've seen develop over his dozen & a half fights & a not THAT bad a resume in comparison with my #2 guy's better resume, Wilder, but kinda wild style that I might piss myself if it was coming at me abit via TV it looks f#cking schoolyard-ish at best sometimes.

He definitely showed some heart. I thought he might quit or his body would just sh^t bed on him during or sometime within 1 or 2 rounds of the 6th. I was super impressed how he kinda took a couple rounds off & survived & came back & then won. I've always felt his muscles were going to be a massive liability later in a fight & I thought they were a massive liability, but he still worked through it.

Being able to comeback from being so close to defeat has to be a huge confidence booster for him, but I am concerned his stamina is never gonna be all that impressive & when someone does beat him the first time it'll be a lot about him gassing out in later rounds. That said good luck to cats trying to get into later rounds with him very often to get him to gas out.

He showed he had the legs to get back up and the chin too absorb the shot that sent himt o the canvas.

He showed he had the wit to recover while he was gassed and get back in top gear.

He showed he had the skills and power to KO Wlad.

It takes a lot to do that to Wlad. I mean the man learned how to deal with knockouts after he was with Manny. He really HAS skills at that age that AJ CAN only learn later.

He did good, he's young to the game and learning.

But he's too muscular, he gasses after pretty much every combo he throws. He also starts pushing punches prob because his arms are so damn heavy

Of course he did. Be honest guys please. You all thought AJ was finished in round 6. It took intelligence, stamina and balls to come back and stop a very good klitschko.

He answered a bunch, and raised a bunch of new ones.

For all that he looked like David Price in there at one point, he dug deep and got a second wind. Tonight will be a priceless experience for him. I think he's the real deal and I don't see many killers for him out there. Fury is the fight but Tyson's road back is long and difficult.

Too much freaking muscle, when they fill with lactic acid in the second half of a fight you drown. But he pulled of the stoppage and you have to respect that.

I think he needed this fight the exact way it played out, instead of going the 35 bum route like others he got what was needed, the experience of this fight would do him than another bum fight.

He certainly showed heart and toughness and the ability to survive to get his second wind. He kind of lucked into it because Wlad is not aggressive and did not push the issue which had absolutely nothing to do with anything Joshua was doing in the middle rounds .

He has power, he has athleticism and a good textbook style when he isn't gassing out.

It will be interesting to see if he starts pumping less iron and maybe looking a little less imposing but focusing on stamina being a bit lighter than he came in tonight. If he does that he will show me he learned the key lesson from this fight and could be in it for the long haul. If he stays the same then he is still really good but he has a big limiting factor and not the mindset to truly look at any issues that he has to fix.
