People still don't understanf the catch. What would have been for Chavez Jr. "the advantage, " 166, 167, 168? Alvarez will most likely be weighing in at 161-162. I'll be shocked if they weigh in at 160 to make a statement.

Canelo always needs some kind of advantage. He admitted it himself, saying he learned it from Floyd. As if fans were gonna be like, oh cool. Most fans hated Floyd, they bought him hoping to see him lose. Funny shiiit is, Floyd didn't game fighters as bad as Canelo. He just waited them out or chose ones no one wanted to see him fight.

Chavez is inactive, hasn't fought top level comp in years, and will be drained. If Canelo doesn't blow through him it's telling.

I'd say Floyd wrote the book on gaming other fighters (and boxing in general) but that's just an opinion. lol

Canelos resume is pretty meh overall. A lot of older and smaller guys lol.

I will knock him for constantly pretending he wants something, it's him that does all the talking, but he never backs it up, why call a fighter in the ring if you don't intend to fight him?

Canelo resume is good, but he has had to rely on his big following and his value to get him through some decisions, he knows he can't do that If he is knocked out cold.
Canelo resume is better than most top guys of each weight division only guys who may have a better resume than him is who?

what don't you understand? I see Nelo weighing in at 161-162, but it would dope if he comes in at 160.5, as I said, to make a statement. Adding 9+ pounds could toll a body and make them outta sync, not for everybody. Chavez Jr. will come in at 164.5, maybe 164! The drain process will be very interesting considering his current shape. He's had a great camp.

Yes, the Lara fight is the prime example, but some make an argument for Austin Trout in that fight as well.
Regardless, he was handed those wins and he has a great resume with some very talented and big names in the mix
