  • Comments Thread For: Joshua: This Could Be Easy, I Could Go in and Catch Klitschko

Heavyweights Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko are ready to rumble in Saturday's bout in front of 90,000 people at Wembley in London. Joshua, 27, who is undefeated in 18 professional fights, is not nervous over the gravity of the contest against his 41-year-old opponent. The Briton is putting his International Boxing Federation title on the line and hoping to secure the vacant WBA, IBO belts. The men will be paid 12 million euros each.

It is possible. The converse is also possible.

I'm thinking Joshua is either overconfident, or shook up and trying to hide it.

                Exactly.

Most are saying AJ wins early, i understand that but what if Wlad is the first to land a flush shot? Wlad has excellent power too and Joshua was hurt by the only clean shot he's taken.

Nobody is mentioning an early stoppage for Wlad but it's possible considering his power. I doubt it though as he never really applies it until he's fully in control but still, it shouldn't be overlooked.

He goes on to say that he could get caught in the next fight by someone that people say is easy. He's basically saying that anything can happen in the heavyweight division.
People are freaking out cause AJ weighs a pound more than his last fight, Wlad looks soft, this guy is on roids that guy is nervous, this guy is overrated that guy is old blah blah blah. It's the sign of a big fight and a good thing for boxing but ultimately people are trying to read too much in to things
