People give Wilder a hard time about fighting Gerald Washington while Pulev takes fights with Kevin Freaking Johnson and whomever that fatty Peter was he fought last time.

People don't give him **** because unlike wilder he was never heavily promoted as anything to begin with. He's just a solid top 10 guy who chases mandatory slots but lacks power.

Have you heard Slash and Myles covering VR, more so Slither ? Slash plays this spine tingling intro, my biggest disappointment when GnR reformed with Axl, Slash and Duff last year was Slash and Myles would be put on the back burner.

VR both albums for me are superb, I find it difficult picking between the two but I'd say my most favourite tracks are from Libertad, Just Sixteen (hence my age on here). Scott had control over all lyrical content in the second album, not that I'm a fan of the rest of the band being excluded from input, a band that was immensely talented. With all tha said Sucker Train Blues and Dirty Little Thing are as strong as Slither, I wouldn't like to have to choose between an album tbh. It's like picking between Vitali And Wlad, one is a hard hitting behemoth the other definitely intelligent and thought provoking, whilst can deliver an absolute steelhammer blow itself.

I think VR began as like we do do this without Axl but quickly became what it was down the stretch, a financial juggernaut with the strength of a tsunami, I like how they proved they could do it without Axl, no.1's.

I view VR as Slash's vision of GnR without all the prolonged ballad trash like November Rain, Knockin and Don't Cry.

I'm gonna have to give those albums another listen because I must say that I'm a bigger fan of GNR and early STP than I am of Velvet Revolver. I listened to each album probably once years ago but haven't given them much of a chance. I recently listened to some of Slash's solo stuff with Myles and was quite surprised to find that I was pretty into. 'Not for Me' off Apocalyptic Love is awesome. But dude what!?! I know you didn't mention it but I feel like Estranged could be lumped in with those songs you named at the bottom of your post and that is by far GNR's greatest masterpiece and one of my favorite songs of all time. I feel like its the greatest thing all of those guys ever worked on.

Estranged is certainly an epic, I do enjoy the track but the only issue I'd have is it's ballad I love hard rock, tracks such as Toys in the Attic and Dirty Little Thing hard pacy rockers, something you can mov, shout and sing along too.

STP and GnR I love as much, possibly more I have a certain affinity to VR, likely the fact they're not as widely accepted and as positively received.

I've just been talking to denium in another thread about Buckcherry another band I absolutely adore, Josh Todd would have been my ideal choice to take over from Scott Weiland in VR before Slash realised he could make more dough rolling solo.

I don't listen to ballad period let alone enjoy or like them, I concur in full.

Rocks is potentially a better album than Toys, the first three tracks are roaring especially **** in the Cellar. I love Draw the Line, Fist Your Face and likely my favourite at least for it's pace like Toys is Let The Music Do The Talking. I do like Sweet Emotion, I'm off to see Aerosmith with my mother next month and Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow with my father next month either side of seeing GnR with my partner. Action packed month next month.

Fists of Fluff Fury is a comedy act, he just wants to be adored and loved and really doesn't know any better. Look at his upbringing. Best not to be too critical of him really I think he has something wrong with him medically and that may be down to his family interbreeding, he's done well for himself to come from the adversity he has had to face.
