Comments Thread For: Hearn: Eubank Jr. Don't Want Golovkin, Father Holding Him Back!

LONDON - Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports has no interest in a working relationship with Chris Eubank Jr. (24-1, 19 KOs) - unless Chris Eubank Sr. is not involved. On more than one occasion, Hearn entered into a working relationship with the Eubanks - and their union was always shattered due to internal issues.

This quote should put to end all the bullshh about Golovkin fighting Brook. I've been saying it wasn't their choice..they got hired by Hearn for an event, it was a Heard event not a K2 event.

Straight from the horse's mouth no less:

But, Hearn was never able to get Eubank to sign the contract for the fight. Eventually, Hearn was forced to pull Eubank Jr. from the event and eventually replaced him with IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, who moved up by two full weight divisions to take the fight.

It won't put an end to nothing as it wouldn't suit the anti ggg agenda. Anyone with common sense knew his only option at such short notice was brook or nothing.

John Ryder was still with Hearn at 160. You would jeopardize your 147 when your 160 fighter would be game? I mean Wade took 2 weeks notice

Eubank jr should fight Lemieux, Jacobs or Charlo. But I am sure his next opponent will be another bum.
