Deontay Wilder has Legacy Arena in Birmingham (19k-seat venue), they've already opened up the full building for Deontay Wilder's fights, but he's yet to sell out the full building (smartly, in my opinion, the local promotional effort hasn't shorted the tickets, so this is a pretty accurate gauge for his actual interest).

If Wilder gets the fever to the point that he sells out Legacy Arena, you could then start thinking about the "legacy move".

Still, no different than with Alvarez-Chavez Jr (which likely could've put 70k people into AT&T Stadium), MGM Resorts is still going to likely bring the truck out for the biggest fights.

Wilder becomes undisputed champion, and is in need of a venue for a fight that Las Vegas or NYC don't have heavy interest in, Wilder would likely take the fight home, and his starpower would likely be beyond just fighting at the 19k-seat Legacy Arena.

Dude this is not the U.K.

There is no way in hell Beyoncé Wilder vs whoever for whatever title or whatnot filling up any football stadium. He can't even sell out an arena in his hometown.

What about CBS Sports deciding whether or not to do a massive primetime Heavyweight bout bigger in promotion than Thurman vs Porter or the Garcia bout? A PBC Hail Mary from 80 yards! July 4th weekend 2018?!

That could happen, but there are steps to that; sell out Legacy Arena first, maybe a couple times.

CBS backing the fight would be great, but remember that Alvarez-Chavez Jr sold out T-Mobile Arena in less than a week, with the energy behind the fight staring to feel like we may be looking at a $100m fight come next Saturday.

Independence Day 2018 is likely too soon for Bryant-Denny, tbh. If things fall together right, you might have the possibility of gauging it out, come Independence Day 2019

Oh no I meant ditch the idea of a big stadium and instead do it at MSG or Vegas on Independence Day weekend.

Oh... If it's just for a straight-up fight, I see Wilder-Joshua being ready for T-Mobile Arena or Barclays Center a bit ahead of Independence Day 2018, tbh.

Assuming that they win without much issue:

-Joshua: Klitschko in April, Pulev in August, Ortiz in December

-Wilder: Stiverne in June/July, Parker in November/December.

March/April 2018 would be the earliest to stage the fight, but I wouldn't mind a split-site double shot (pairing a March Joshua title defense from Showtime International, with a same-day title defense by Deontay Wilder on Showtime Championship Boxing
