Chicago fight fans will have a chance to get their Irish up when Ireland's Olympic hero MICHAEL "MICK" CONLAN comes to town. Hot from his high-profile professional debut, a literal knockout performance which took place on St. Patrick's Day at a sold-out Theater at Madison Square Garden, Conlan continues his U.S. tour, going from the Big Apple to the City of the Big Shoulders. He will headline a nationally-televised event on Friday, May 26, at UIC Pavilion, in a six-round featherweight bout. The card will also feature former world champion "Mile High" MIKE ALVARADO and undefeated Top-10 welterweight contender ALEX "El Cholo" SAUCEDO in separate 10 and eight-round bouts, respectively.

Conlan's rollout has been nothing short of spectacular. TR is doing a phenomenal job with building his base.

Side note: Stevenson's camp was dumb for singing w/ Top Rank (and particularly for making Ward/Prince your manager). TR is promoting the hell out of a guy in your weight class, while you're fighting on an undercard to a PPV nobody watched.

Meanwhile Tank Davis is a new champ and going to the UK for a sellout mandatory fight.

When I said something about Stevenson fighting on that horrible PPV card people said I'm overreacting and it's no big deal. Stevenson will be fighting in his home state of New Jersey on the Crawford undercard. Well the Crawford fight got moved to NY & Stevenson still ain't on the card. Top Rank aren't good at promoting black fighters. They had the most popular fighter of all time in their stable and he had to leave them to reach his full potential. Bradley beat Pac & Marquez and he's still fighting at the Cosmo in Vegas
