Any Wlad fans here can clear up, what wins Wlad has that makes him such a force of nature?

      Klitschko's amazing comeback?

April 29, 2017, “The Heavyweight Generation Gap” Klitschko vs Joshua in Wembley Stadium, London with a crowd of 90,000 equaling the British record of Len Harvey vs Jock McAvoy set in 1939! Key statistics are: Physically very similar. AGE (41yo vs 27yo) and Number of bouts (68 vs 18, Klitschko also had a much much longer and more decorated amateur boxing career), Last bouts:4 months Joshua won, 17 months Klitschko bad loss! WOW! Two Olympic Gold Medalists, 16 years apart, now meet in the pro ring! Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Klitschko is ready for his historic comeback. Anthony Joshua is leading the pack in the resurgence of British boxing. This bout will end violently, but who goes down? The athletic young powerhouse, or the veteran champion who dominated his weight class for so long. My old school loyalty favors Wladdy to comeback by using his experience and a new-found aggression, otherwise his career comes to a smashing conclusion. Keys to victory: Klitschko has to use all his experience, his confidence, and any tricks he can muster. He must control distance. He must get Joshua's respect within the 1st round. Klitschko's jab will either win, or lose the fight for him. His “Steelhammer” can only strike when it's been set up by that piston jab. Above all, Klitschko must take calculated risks to have any chance at winning this fight! Joshua must quiet his butterflies, forget the immense “hometown” pressure, and rely on his athleticism and speed. He must avoid taking any direct punches early in the fight, but he can start fighting more offensively after Rd 3. Joshua needs to move, attack suddenly, get in and get out, focusing on the body. His use of footwork, especially pivoting, could frustrate Klitschko's more static style. If Joshua shows patience and does not let the event overwhelm or distract him, his chances of catching Klitschko on the chin in the middle rounds is good. As the fight wears on Klitschko's chances could improve in the championship rounds. (Do the officials favor AJ?)

AJ has had like 18 fights?

At least half of them have been against total bum level opposition.

His last 5-6 have been against C or B level guys.

Whyte has been the best guy Joshua has faced and to be honest there were moments in that fight where Joshua looked horrible.

So then you look at Vlad's resume and its not even competitive on paper.

But, it could be different under the lights.

          My thoughts, too.

Either AJ stops Wlad, inside 3 or 4 rounds, or Wladimir finishes him late or gets the UD.

on the title picture AJ looks like a little boy. but i m sure he will be one of the greatest HWs we ve ever seen. he never does any ****talkin and he is a complete sportsman. some may find it boring that he does not do any trashtalkin like clowns as hay or T.Fury. but lennox was the same at all. so what do the people want? sport or some comic entertainement...

Wlad didn't show up against Fury who is an inferior fighter to Joshua. In fact, Wlad won't be able to get away with his jab and grab nonsense with a big, strong HW like Joshua. Anthony stops him inside the distance. Wilder avoids him.

Mentally I think he is. All the stuff I've seen with him say to me he's a thinking guy who's grounded & doesn't bs himself like so many elite athletes do. That's not to say that he's not confident, but I think he realized some of his short comings & works towards improving them or putting those short comings out there less to be taking advantage of.

Physically is he ready? Skills-wise? That's the billion dollar question. I'm predicting a KO in the 1st half of the fight by Joshua, but I could easily see Klitschko, being the guy we seen defend the belt so many times, just smartly outbox Joshua over 12 or to a later stoppage or overwhelm him early in the fight cuz Klitschko is for sure the guy who's shown himself to have more paths to victory than Joshua has shown himself to have thus far. My sense is just that Joshua's time is now & while he's not by any means unbeatable Klitschko has dropped off enough, slowed down enough, gotten old enough that Joshua wins this like its seemingly his destiny to do.

I'm no Klitschko fan. I think he's boring as f#ck & am rooting for him to lose so HW boxing can become more fun & entertaining.

That said Klitschko certainly has better wins than Joshua has. I mean purely resume-wise one should think Klitschko murders Joshua. Luckily for Joshua there are more factors, & more important factors, then just resume.

Klitschko is 41 & has been out of action for nearly 17 months. Fury beat him by doing just a little more than he did. Joshua is young, skilled, strong & hungry. Wlad is old & rusty. The old man will be put out to pasture. Joshua is ready & the time is now!

Wlad threw the Fury fight and made some say $50 million betting

Does Wlad throw this Joshua fight again and collect off losing on huge bets that help Wlad and Vitali and the Ukraine Government??? Wlad as a communist cannot be trusted. Look for a Joshua Decision win as Wlad throws another fight. Never trust a commie.
