    I will say it again.....

the SUPERSTAR - Miguel Cotto - weighs 153 pounds

perhaps let me try it one more time, in case your under-developed teenage brain has not processed that information.....

the midget SUPERSTAR - Miguel "the fkn boss" Cotto - only weighs 153lbs

and he heard Hypekin promise to fight Canelo at 154.....

Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154.....

but, I guess you have some excuse for that..... an excuse that will seem absurdly childish to most people, but will somehow be acceptable to you..... right?

I guess you didn't get the memo mofo...Cotto and Canelo held the middleweight belt.THE MIDDLEWEIGHT BELT. GGG did not need to move down in weight to fight them because GGG IS ALSO A MIDDLEWEIGHT. They moved up to his division. They came to his house and tried to talk like they were the big dog. When GGG said fight me or GTFO of my house they ran away. Its not GGG's fault they are scared.

If Cotto shared Roach's view (not sure that is the case) and said he couldn't beat GGG at 160 then I wouldn't have as much of a problem if he asked for a CW.
Maybe I should reread the article but I don't recall him saying anything about the weight. That said my only point is that cotto is obviously very undersized for ggg. The size disadvantage for cotto was huge against Canelo. I think it would be a little worse than with ggg. This a catch weight should apaul anyone and I think fair. But I guess it depends on the weight.

      • Guys let's get real. Canelo couldn't even feel Cotto's punches what makes ya'll think GGG wouldn't just walk through em?

Can't believe how gullible some of yawl are.

Cotto couldn't even breathe (literally) whenever they asked him about GGG when he held the belt, what could he do in the ring? Pass out?

Fight won't happen, Cotto knows what's up and even if it did it would be a guaranteed KO for Golovkin.

you are the class clown kid

nice of you to take time from your clowning to entertain us LMAO

Mr " 154-168 " totally refused to negotiate on weight with little old faded 153lb Cotto..... then he happily accepted step-aside money

Golovkin LITERALLY stepped out of Cotto's way

GGG preferred for Canelo to make millions with Cotto

now, he just did the exact same thing with Saunders

Golovkin LITERALLY stepped out of Saunders way

in order for that fight to happen, Golovkin would have to accept a catchweight

            Cotto weighs 153lb

            that completely changes the paradigm

THAT is why Mr "154-168" totally refused to negotiate on weight with little old faded 153lb Cotto last time around

that kid aint taking any kind of risks, he is too protected

why didn't GGG's dreadful fanbase call him out on that ?

why the fk would a guy who can " easily " make 154 totally refuse to negotiate on weight with his best possible payday?..... his best possible payday, who just so happens to weigh 153 LMAO

Golovkin is tip-toeing through the tulips

He didn't say anything about the weight but if you're saying Jacobs exposed GGG (at 160), and that Cotto can beat him, that would imply he thinks Cotton can beat him at 160.

I agree Cotton is a little undersized but as I said, if Cotto agrees with Roach, then he should fight him at the same weight that Jacobs exposed GGG at.

If Cotto doesn't think he can beat GGG at 160, then I don't have as much of a problem of it happening at a CW.

              • Cotto made his name as a hard punching welter. But he is too vulnerable. It would be stopped before 10 rounds.

GGG stepped out of the way because Cotto vs. Canelo would have happened anyway. It was too big a fight. If GGG refused the step aside money Cotto would have just given up the belt and fought Canelo anyway. By taking the step aside money he got paid and remained in his mandatory position. Of course you knew that already but don't give a *****. Its just another blatent attempt to distort reality to make GGG look worse than he did.

This is ******. GGG didn't need or have to negotiate on weight. Cotto was the middleweight champion and Golovkin was the mandatory. Golovkin had every right to demand 160lbs.

If the issue was the purse split if maybe Golovkin wanted fifty percent and refused to budge on it, then I would understand and I would say GGG was being unreasonable. But even then that wouldn't justify vacating the title because there are procedures in place to deal with things like that.

When the parties cannot agree to a split, the fight goes to purse bid where the champ gets 75 percent and the challenger 25 percent. So before you go there know already that Cotto and Canelo have no legs to stand on money wise because the rules favored them.

Again, GGG had EVERY right to demand 160lbs. Does that make him a liar? Yes, it does, but that doesn't change the fact that he had every right to demand 160lbs, because if he didn't, then he would have been the one vacating the mandatory spot and not the other way around.

Cotto and Canelo are *******. No amount of crying and whining is ever going to change that. A freakin welterweight was braver then they were even though they were actually so called middleweight champions
