Comments Thread For: Wilder: Klitschko Needed to be Humbled; Losing Inspired Him

Deontay Wilder sensed overconfidence from Wladimir Klitschko as he continued dominating the heavyweight division for nearly 10 years. That's why Wilder considered Klitschko's loss to Tyson Fury as a blessing in disguise for the former champion. Things had gotten too easy for the hard-hitting Ukrainian, and according to Wilder, the only thing that could break Klitschko out of his complacent state was a sobering reminder of what it's like to lose.

I can't wait for a Joshua vs Wilder fight, it's gonna be good to see Wilder get KO'd and watch all his fans start saying he was never good anyway lmao.

I just want the winner to fight Fury or Wilder.

I recon the winner of that would be the true champeen. (Arum reference lol)

I think Wilder would KO Joshua or this Klitschko.

In my opinion, if an in shape Fury took on Wilder he's the only one who stands a chance.

Wilder is very limited with his skillset, Washington showed all you have to do is stay on the front foot and jab him and he looks lost. Unfortunately for Washington he decided to start backing up which got him KO'd.

I see AJ backing him up and stopping him with the better fundamentals. Don't get me wrong Wilder could catch him with a windmill and KO him but I don't see it.
