Comments Thread For: Banks Admits He Had a Feeling Klitschko Would Lose To Fury

Wladimir Klitschko's trainer Johnathon Banks has revealed he realised they would lose to Tyson Fury three days before the fight. Fury's November 2015 defeat of the then-IBF, WBO, IBO and WBA heavyweight champion was Klitschko's first in 11 years, and remains one of the finest ever victories by any British fighter.

Banks is not even a f-king trainer, he is an assistant! After Stuarts death Wlad with his brothers help went on a cruise-control with all the last fights. He would NEVER loose to Fury if he had Stuart in his corner, Banks had no plan/solution for Fury.

wlads not throwing punches = maybe tell wlad to throw punches??

nah...banks doesnt even do that, the guy is literally a total waste of space, trainer? Eubanks Snr standing infront of wlad in horse riding shoes and a three peice suit would be closer to 'training' than what banks does

The fighter does the fighting. To say Fury would have lost if Manny was
In the Klits corner is not fair to say.
Fury destroyed him mentally before the first bell and dominated him, period.

Shut uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup what a ****** comment, Fury dropped the belts like a hot potato and went home to cry into his pillow because it's all too 'hard'. STFU about Fury he is gone until he mans up and gets back in the ring, his career and win against Wlad is null and void.

Seems like a reflection of his doubts/insecurities as a formidable trainer.

I called the Fury W -- thought it was a no brainer, but had I been the one training Wlad no where in my mind would I even be entertaining that thought.

flimsy construct - nice story - i'd be more interested hearing why he thought that Fury was going to win and what has changed now
