I like some of the others, are going to wait to see the weight, but I'm probably going with Canelo. Not sure if by KO or not.

Chavez just doesn't have the style to really give Canelo problems.

^That's where I'm at. The weigh in should be helpful. I want to see the weigh-in before deciding if Canelo is going to finish him or decision him.

They did a great promotion and fans are easily manipulated, if his opponents name wasnt Chavez Jr but Canelo was fighting Tyron Zeuge, Patrick Nielsen or Avni Yildrim (3 similar skilled/ranked Supermiddleweights as Chavez Jr) and they would be drained to 164.5 and face Canelo on Cinco de Majo people wouldnt even care. Casinos have Chavez rightfully a 1:7 underdog.

Another problem with Chavez I have is that Chavez has not knocked out anybody in 5 years, he went life and death with Bryan Vera and couldnt even hurt Domink fuggin Britsch, a german nobody. So if this fight goes to the card will they EVER give this fight to Chavez?? The Canelo judges in Vegas? You remember how wide the scores were for him vs Trout? How they almost gave him a draw vs Mayweather?

The only reason i am inclined to be betting on Chavez would be if he looks tremendous at the weigh in and this game here gives a nice bonus mulitplier for the Chavez upset and why not bet on the guy you would like to see winning.

Ah fukkit. I was gonna wait for the weigh in but I'm in a whimsical mood today... Frankly Canelo should take this by wide decision, but I'm gonna go for the long shot see if I can rack up some points

KOBA. Chavez Jr. DEC CLOSE x3

Canelo is going to win easily.

He's always in prime shape and is a devastating body puncher. Chavez trains lazy, often comes in heavy, and he's a quitter.

I'm only shocked Chavez isn't a bigger underdog.

One day prior to weigh in Chavez Jr was 165.2

                    ~11 ounces to go

Canelo late stoppage between 9-12 in a fight that gets more one sided as it goes. The weight cut seems to have killed junior and I think his lack of stamina after a few rounds will begin to tell and Canelo will take over to the point of just teeing off.
