I think he will be appreciated by historians similar to how Willie Pep is. Just a sublime technician, especially before the ODLH fight.

Man, Golovkin is a brilliant boxer. Killer jab, left hook to the body, right cross, right uppercut, footwork, perfect balance, can box, can brawl, superb punching technique, solid defence when he fights more measured. The guy is just beautiful to watch.

Floyd had to earn his respect through years of beating champions and HOF level opponents. Some guys are given the same respect having defeated no hof'ers or having only 8 fights.

It would sure be nice if some posters actually made guys they like earn respect and not just give it to them based on how they look.
