Canelo fan here and of course most realize he didn't want to fight GGG until he was a couple years older and showed slippage.
Hopefully he doesn't wait until GGG has been brutally KO'd before he fights him ie Floyd-Pac.
I normally like Bread's insights, but this one was a little tough to swallow. Charlo hasn't even fought once at 160lbs, yet he already beats Golovkin? Thats a bit much. He normally outweighs his opponents by 15 pounds or so. That would not be the case at 160lbs. He also only looked like a world beater in one fight. And it was against Bread's guy, which I'm sure is where this bias comes from. Prior to that he went the distance with a faded Trout and just squeaked by. I do, however, believe these guys are on something. The Charlo from this past weekend looked completely different physically, and all of a sudden has big power. Something seems to be off with these guys...
I gotta say, i love all of this charlo hate. The more yall doubt them the stronger they get. Really, ped's? Yall a joke. I will empty my account every time either one fight. Sorry but I still got GGG over both of them. Jermall also just went 12 with Austin Trout. Lara dropped Trout he couldn't. Canelo dropped Trout he couldn't. Jermall is similar to Jacobs in many ways, who took advantage of a special early weigh-in to rehydrate to around 185 pounds on fight night. GGG beat that Jacobs. Jermall might not even be able to rehydrate that high without an early weigh in. He also can't switch southpaw. He's also never shown lateral mobility and defense like Jacobs has taken years to learn and showed vs GGG. I don't know if he can copy Jacobs gameplan.
