At this point, I don't think Dana has anything to do with it. He is just a familiar public face that represents the UFC's interests, but has no decision making power. Out of everyone involved, I would think he would be the least obstructionist so he can grab a few bucks off the whole thing.

He has a contract with Conor & he's saying he'll be the one talking to Floyd. Maybe he's bsing there, but I tend to believe Dana + Conor's manager will be the one dealing with Floyd & Haymon much more than Conor is. Conor is probably the least powerful player in this whole thing the more serious talks get. Kinda like Manny in the Haymon/Floyd/Arum/Manny discussions. At least that's how I see it.

Now if Conor goes off the reservation cuz he feels he deserves more money (Dana is already saying $75M to Conor's $100M/minimum + sponsors) & tries to make this fight via legal means (by dis*****g his potentially illegal UFC contract or trying to find a loophole in his contract via the Muhammad Ali Act) its a whole different story at that point.

Let Conor and Floyd fight as it will be entertaining and a lot of fun

Conor vs Floyd will be a circus like fight entertaining for all and a huge payday for both fighters. Everyone knows Floyd will box the hell and embarrass wee man Conor but it still will fun to watch. This fight will generate millions via PPV and will be good for the UFC and Conor and all fans. Does anyone actually think the brash comical outspoken leprechaun Conor can actually box with the world's best boxer???? Let each little guy make their 100 million each and put on a fun bout for all fans. DUH?
