While I agree that neither Canelo or Chavez Jr. deserve a belt for this fight, because this fight is not for a championship belt but for a conmemorative belt.,

I think we should respect more this piece of art, and I really mean it guys, this thing is a piece of art, and while you may think it looks like a piñata for it's psychodellic mixture of colors I invite you to watch this video, feel free to skip to 3:00 to see the pacience and effort put to make this belt.

This was done by a huichol, an ancestral heritage of Mexican-Indians who work with precious stones and chakiras, the belt was made with 40,000 chakiras and it was worth 300 hours of work and it traveled to the 4 cardinal points in Mexico because according to the huichols their creations need to travel those 4 points to honor their gods. I mean it's eccentric but not the least it's a beauty ancestral tribes like these still exist today. The animals portrayed on the belt have a meaning too but I don't remember what they meant.
