    Jermell Charlo vs Erickson Lubin

Jermell Charlo has 3 mandatory's ge has to take care off. This first one was Charles Hatley this past weekend and the last in the winner of Vanes Martirosyn and Ishe Smith 2 winner (yes, they have to fight again.)

In betwee , there is an interesting match-up with Erickson Lubin. I don't think he's ready for this huge step up. Others think he is ready.

What is your take on the upcoming match-up?

I'm not sure Lubin is ready for the step up either. Least he will come to win and fight hard. But yeah, charlo by ko late rounds imo.

Lubin is listed as 5'9 but he is clearly smaller than that.

      He gets hurt badly.

I will say it again, I don't care how skilled Lubin is. He isn't ready for any top guy at 154. The kid is small, young and looks like a WW. These guys at 154 are HUGE and IMO will be too strong for him. And not like they are bums either.

He also has a very long head...that thing is a massive target.

I don't know his reach but it won't nullify his lack of height.

Yea I think its a big ask for Lubin too. Like him, think he's talented, but idk that this will be THAT competitive of a matchup. But whatever doe, if Lubin is ready for his chance than fair play to him. I think it can be a good learning experience for him if he does lose that will only help him become better in the future. And if he can win holy f#ck respect to him for stepping up & coming out on top. Just makes the division more fun.

I think Charlo is too much for Lubin right now.

Lubin looks promising but I don't think he's been truly tested yet and probably isn't ready to fight for a championship. I would hate to see him end up like Antoine Douglas when he faced Khurtsidze or other prospects that were rushed to fast.

He MIGHT be able to beat Vanes but can he? Vanes gives everyone problems. Is he ready for Vanes? Do you put him in there against Vanes to gauge where he (Lubin) is at? It's a risky fight for a young dude who IMO needs more experience.

He could make WW if not for that massive head of his.

That guys noggin has it's own gravitational pull...just drawing punches to it.
