Robinson was protected from some of the Murderer's Row of black fighters during his time. Charley Burley, Holman Williams, LLoyd Marshall, Jack Chase, were all con****uously missing from Robinson's record. They were reduced to fighting one another multiple times in order to earn a paycheck. LaMotta actually fought a few of them, which is why is gets a lot of respect from boxing historians and fans. He wasn't afraid to fight the dangerous black fighters of the 40's and 50's.
Tyson avoided Foreman, he said something along the lines of George being crazy and that he wasn't buying that nice guy act. He didn't want any part of Foreman, and honestly, it was a lose-lose fight for him. If he beats an old, flabby Foreman no one gives him credit (he learned that lesson from beating Holmes) and if he loses he is a laughing stock.
