A classic beatdown for sure. Not a classic fight as in competitiveness.

B1TCH please. broner rolled around on the ground like he got shot looking for a way to quit while trying to get maidana disqualified. you think people forgot about that? broner deserved every bit of trash the fans threw at him.

It is one of the most classical 0-taking upsets of our time imo. The favorite was knocked down multiple times, humped, and beaten handily.

One of my fav fight and I'm not even a Broner or Maidana fan. I was alone in a hotel room screaming and cheering for Maidana. I must have watched the fight 10 times afterwards

Too one sided to be considered a classic.

More of a feel good story

Maybe not classic in the sense that it was monumental or a FOTY, but in terms of hype and action inside the ring, I'd file it under a cult classic IMO; two warriors going to war, great re-watch value alongside the aforementioned Bradley fight.

Love or hate Broner, everybody loved this fight in particular.

Nothing better than Maidana returning the grind at the end of the fight after dropping and punking Broner twice throughout.
It was definitely a classic, for several reasons, and an epic fight aside from that. A memorable night indeed. One of those fights where if you weren't already a boxing fan, you missed out big time, rewatching it isn't the same as live. If that was your first fight, it probably made you a fan, and if it didn't then boxing isn't for you.
