  • Why don't boxers follow brooks approach vs porter?

All brook did was shift lateraly the entire fight and throw the jab and straight right...He had the size advantage but that strategy seemed to throw Porter off completely.

Why try and engage with such a dirty fighter? For example, I think Thurman could win every single round if he would just box and move, land power shots when they are wide open.

Not a lot of WW's are as skilled as Brook. Duh

Not all opponents are as limited as Porter

Brook also had the strength to grab onto Porter without being flung off

Brook is a big strong welterweight with a stiff jab and a well timed hook.

Not a lot of welterweights have his size and skill level.

Its not easy to do for 12 rounds, especially against someone as relentless and determined as porter.

This. Porter is very athletic and trains tough but his boxing IQ isn't up there.

Exactly. That's like asking why don't all fighters follow GGG's approach and KO their opponents

Lol and why don't I follow Steve Jobs' blue print and become a millionaire? Not everyone has the attributes that Brook has, he's a strong mother****er who out muscled Porter, I don't think many people can do that.
