Best Opponent For Parker On 2 weeks notice?

The kiwi's according to this poll apparently want the Andy Ruiz Rematch:

Which would be decent, if unlikely considering Ruiz isnt exactly the type to keep in decent shape, outside of training camps

the WBO are allowing a voluntary who is in the top 15:

    1. Hughie Fury *Pulled out, drug cheat, liar, coward
    2. Christian Hammer* Fighting in 3 weeks.
    3. Jarrell Miller
    4. Andy Ruiz
    5. Kubrat Pulev *Fighting another retired bum
    6. Dominic Breazeale
    7. Dillian Whyte *Fighting Wach
    8. Tom Schwarz *WBO junior champion, just fought
    9. Andriy Rudenko
    10. Luis Ortiz * Injured
    11. Andrey Fedosov
    12. Agit Kabayel
    13. Kyotaro Fujimoto* Fighting next month
    14. Razvan Cojanu
    15. Zhilei Zhang

Miller or Breazeale would be ideal...but unlikely.

IMO will be either Fedosov or Rudenko...

Hammer seems like a solid option. Looks like he's only the co-main on the card he's got scheduled so he might not be tied to this card. Its obviously gotta pay better & probably even better then normal since its late notice. He's got the nice W recently. He's highly ranked by this abc group + is very beatable for Parker. He's usually falls down when he loses making it a fun fight for fans. That would seem an ideal opponent for Parker if Hammer can get out of his fight vs this 40 year old cruiserweight who caught an L to the old KTFO version of RJJ.

          Yeah agreed.

Definitely makes sense to offer him decent money to travel, however i dunno if his team would take it.
Like you said he's got decent rankings in most bodies...will he take decent money or will his team just hold out and wait for the big AJ payday?

I expect it to be Fujimoto or Cojanu. Both are easy opponents who have fought in that part of the world before and would most likely come cheap

***imoto is defending his prestigious OPBF title in tokyo next month against some samoan dude.

Speaking of Samoan dudes, where is Alex Lepai? shame he isnt ranked by the WBO, that would be a decent fight on short notice + it would sell well in NZ for the Samoan V Half Samoan rivalry

I would fully expect Fujimoto to drop that fight and take this one if he is offered. Leapai retired, then said he was coming back, but hasn't fought since that announcement and I haven't heard anything about him since

Christian Hammer would be perfect if he is able to somehow get out of his scheduled fight. Sometimes agreements can be made to step out of a scheduled fight and move on to a bigger fight it's happened before. Hammer would probably have to pay a portion of his purse from the Parker fight to the opponent he was originally scheduled to face.

But it can be done, it's happened plenty of times before.

I'd love it to be Miller but adding a sense of realism it's gotta be Rudenko or Hammer, the other unheard offs I've no interest.

Surely it hasn't got to be top 15 with less than two weeks notice.
