    yea it loses value when they gave it to someone who is not deserving but i'm pretty sure from 2000-2009 fighter of the decade they gave the award to the very deserving one and it's not even close.

        lol what are you smoking doofus, pacquiao won fighter of the decade in the 2000s and roy won it in 90s. those were two no brainers the award has not been "devalued". your just saying that because gayweather jr didn't win it.

              A lot can change from now and then If GGG can go unbeaten til 2019 and Ward along with Lomachenko can do the same, I think It will be a very tough call, but It would likely be between Ward and GGG due to the politics I think Ward would probably get it.

                    IDK people thought ward was a lock to win fighter of the year last year but he didn't. the writers saw through that bogus win over kovalev.

                      No. That fotd award is like Karl Malone's NBA MVP award. When he played Mike in the finals we saw who should've won the award without question.
