will spence start appearing on pound for pound lists if he beats brook?

Brooks not on anyones list and people on here dont seem to rate him much so theres not much justification for putting spence on if he beats him by most peoples logic.

But we know what fans are like on here if a fighter gets a name on their CV, they start hyping them up. Algieri suddenly got spoke about as 'the guy who pacquiao couldnt stop', as if getting put on your pants 6 times is some great achievement.

Beating bundu too turned into a solid win. People do it time and time again, they compare performances against bums. Spence stopped bundu, thurman went the distance, so in there eyes spence is better already. THey dont factor in that a more aggressive fighter is mre likely to force the stoppage against limited competition.

Seem to remember a heavily hyped kid called adrien broner not so long ago being on pound for pound lists after beating some bums. CV and level of opposition didnt matter 'The talent is obvious, he passes the eye test' was the stock phrase. Well we all saw what happened against maidana and porter when he stepped it up, he didnt pass the eye test that time thats for sure.

Seems to be some crazy hype about this kid, which seems unwarranted to me. Porter just blew out a B level fighter last night whos arguably better than algieri and bundu, but came unstuck against the top dogs. To me it doesnt mean **** blowing out B level fighters, you shouldnt be so convinced of a guys talent before hes fought a world level fighter.

Read today people already saying he'd be the only challenge for crawford at 147, spence is proven already in some peoples eyes.

So to make things clear, will spence be on your pound for pound list if he beats brook? Does him beating a fighter whos supposedly not very good in brook mean that spence gets on the list?

Funny how I seem to remember many Spence haters claiming that Spence was gonna be exposed by Algieri and then flipped the switch as soon as Algieri hit the deck and the ref called time out.

Isn't it funny how that seems to happen a lot around here?

I personally think Brook is a very talented welterweight. I rate him above Keith Thurman and would pick him to beat Thurman. That doesn't mean I'm putting him on my opinion based p4p list though. The only way Spence can get in my top 10 in regards to this fight is if he shows another dimension I haven't seen before.

I was hyped up on Oscar Valdez. I thought he would knock Marriaga out yesterday night but I was wrong. However, that fight showed me that Valdez is more than a one dimensional fighter and he could really box. If I can see that from Errol Spence (Even if it's a tough fight), I will wholeheartedly say he's one of the best in the world. I'm also worried about his chin though wanna see how it holds up to this chocolate brownie.

I can only speak for myself. He has been on my top 10 pfp list since the day he KOed Algieri. It wasn't that beating Algieri was that hard to do. It was the way he beat him added to the other performances I had seen from him. I believe he can beat Brook or any other welterweight and that's enough to secure a place for him on my top 10 pfp best list. He beat Algieri even more impressively than Pacquiao did and he beat Bundu more impressively than Thurman did.

If loma is on the list then so should Errol "The Truth" Spence Jr. be on it.

                  really, why?

Loma's wins over Walters, Martinez, Sosa and Gary Russel Jr outweigh anything on Errol' s resume.
