porter vs Berto was turned into an eliminator AFTER the fight was announced. They should have made they a ppv card instead of wasting showtimes budget on mismatches

With the exception of Ward - Kovalev, HBO has shown (or plans to show) nothing but mismatches this year.

Any casual can tell which network is putting on competitive fights. Charlo fought his mandatory (who didn't have a legitimate L on his record), and Porter fought Berto, which is a pretty good stay busy fight for Porter in comparison who was out there for him to fight (a lot of the guys around him in ranking either have fights coming up or just recently fought; the only other guys who could've been available was Peterson or glass jaw Khan).

Let the hating go, it lacks logic...

its not hating they weren't competitive and berto shouldn't be ina headline fight. HBO has been a lot mistmatches but berchelt-vargas was good and the co feature was lights out with roman and miura and berchelt miura looks like a burner. Kovalev Ward2 is good but ppv. Crawford Diaz could be good

and charlo's mandatory did have an L on his record and was garbage. Just because its a mandatory showtime doesn't have to buy it. Like HBO didn't buy Valdez vs Marriaga his mandatory but that fight turned out to be a barn burner
