Berto could not land anything and his footwork is slow, getting run over was just a matter of time if youre not landing. Crawford is a lot different, he is slick enough to move around and a accurate puncher from long range, I think Porter will have a lot more trouble getting to Crawford than he did with Berto. The size is a big player in how TC fills out to 147.

Its a fight, not knitting class. Porter wins with his style, good for him.

        Crawford easily out boxes Porter.

HAVing an ugly style is one thing (also objective). But defending his constant head butting is ******ed

Crawford would just pivot matador style in my opinion. Would be a great fight to watch though.

Yes I think so too, he would do a Mayweather on guys that come like Porter.

Timing, boxing beats Porter. If he's not smothering you he won't win. Space kills Porter's style. Just create space and box and he will be bouncing around the ring getting outboxed and timed. Crawford is a great boxer and mover, and he can punch. When Broner of all people, timed Porter he knocked him down hard.

Yeah. What got me was the Crawford ducking Diaz accusations. Anything Diaz can do Crawford can do better and with pop behind it.

With Porter, you'd think the Diaz, Brook, and Thurman fights never happened. Crawford hasn't come close to losing to anyone in Julio Diaz level. The some posters are saying Porter is a different caliber fighter, but Crawford is the one who's in everyone's top 5 P4P while it's unlikely Porter will ever crack the top 10. It's pretty amusing tbh.

You do have to worry about Crawford's strength because Porter will inevitably drag anyone into ugly infighting at various points, but Crawford should probably be the favorite over Porter.

It wouldn't be easy for either guy.

Boxing is Porter's kryptonite because it's something he can't do. He can smother and ambush. He's like Jean Pascal. Look at Porter wins, guys who are above average but not all that good just decent: Malignaggi, Broner, Berto.

Crawford would outclass him, time him, maybe KD him maybe not, but he'd win. He's on a different level than Diaz, Paulie, Broner, or Berto.
Porter arguably beat Thurman, and that was a really tough fight for Thurman even if you think he won (which I do). Brook didn't exactly have an easy time either, though he won more comfortably. He had to do so through clinching a lot.

Crawford is really, really good, one of the 5-6 best fighters on the planet right now, Porter would be rough for him. It's not a gimme, I don't think. Porter is rough for anyone at 147, and proved so against the two best current fighters in the division.
