I'll remember him as a civil rights leader who united black people, white people and the police to live together and also as a transcendent individual, whose name will echo forever in the annals of time

Wasted talen and potential. When he KO'd Demarco he genuinely looked like the next up, specifically because he showed the ability to adjust and fight a totally different gameplan. He just didn't take the sport as seriously as he should have. That separates the greats from the LEGENDS.Comment

He should have stayed in shape at 135 - he was too small for 140 and definitely too small for 147.
African-American culture is about "staying true to your crew." He should have abandoned the people he knew and made friends with productive and civil people, and focused on his boxing career.
I would caution attacking Broner because the ***ish cabal that built up Broner is the same one that built up Tyson, Ali Holyfield, etc. and took everything from them at the end. The same will happen to Mayweather - his fortune is a target and he has a bullseye on his back. Wouldn't be shocked if some ***ish lawyers get to women Mayweather has been involved with and they destroy him like they did O'Reilly.Comment

... usually, I "root" for Brook... But I still don't think that Brook will be "the same" after that broken orbital bone injury... Brook may look to hide his right eye, but Spence also holds strong overhand right hooks to the head and right uppercuts to the body... therefore!Comment
